Nikon D40 Camera Armor

Is the camera armour for the Niknon D40 compatible with the the Nikon D60?
I’m having real trouble finding armour for the D60 and wondered if the D40 rmour was compatible? It would definetly explain why I’m unable to find the armour for the D60!
The D40 and D60 are built on the same body there are some hardware and software differences inside but the outside is the same so yes it will. take you D60 to your local camera store and have them put it on before you buy so you can make sure it still gives you a comoratable feel. I put is on my D40 but did not like the feel of the armor on my D300
